1. About QuoteKit

QuoteKit is an AI-powered quoting and invoicing tool operated by QuoteKit (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using QuoteKit you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

QuoteKit uses artificial intelligence to help tradespeople draft professional quotes and invoices based on information you provide. QuoteKit is a writing and formatting tool — it does not provide legal, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy before sending it to customers
• Ensuring your quotes and invoices comply with applicable law
• All prices, quantities, and figures you enter
• Any representations made to your customers

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person or business. Multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits are not permitted.

4. Subscription plans and billing

• QuoteKit offers a free Starter plan and paid Pro and Business plans, billed monthly or annually.
• All prices shown on our pricing page are inclusive of UK VAT at 20%. The price displayed is the total amount you will be charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
• On cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are given for unused time, except within the 14-day money-back guarantee period.
• 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied within 14 days of first subscribing to a paid plan, contact us at contactqk@quotekit.uk for a full refund.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use QuoteKit to generate fraudulent, misleading, or illegal documents
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service
• Share your account with others or resell access to the service
• Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Submit false or harmful content via the AI generation inputs

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

6. AI-generated content

QuoteKit uses AI to generate document text. While we work to ensure the output is professional and appropriate, AI generation is not perfect. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. Always review output before sending to a customer. QuoteKit accepts no liability for errors in AI-generated content that you send to third parties.

7. Intellectual property

QuoteKit and its underlying technology remain our intellectual property. Content you generate using QuoteKit belongs to you. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your inputs for the purpose of generating your documents.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• QuoteKit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of customers, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
• Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
